Büşra Ünverdi Demir graduated with high honors from Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Education, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling in 2017. During her undergraduate studies, she gained practical experience through internships at various institutions and studied abroad for a semester at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), Department of Psychology, as part of the Erasmus+ program.
She earned her master's degree from Boğaziçi University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling, with her thesis titled "First-Time Mothers' Prenatal Expectations About Coparenting and Their Postnatal Experiences." During her master's education, she worked as a researcher in a comprehensive Scientific Research Project (BAP) focusing on the early individual differences in infants of primiparous twin and singleton mothers. Concurrently, she gained professional experience working as a school counselor at a private preschool.
Currently a PhD candidate at Marmara University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling (having started her doctoral studies in 2020), Ünverdi Demir is in the final stages of completing her doctoral dissertation, which investigates coparenting processes among parents. Her primary research interests include coparenting dynamics, family psychology, qualitative research studies, and college mental health. Her academic work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, presented at international conferences, and featured as book chapters. Since 2020, Büşra Ünverdi Demir has been serving as a Research Assistant in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University.
